How many years would you have to own the new Toyota RAV4 plug-in electric vehicle to break even in $50,000 savings on gas? It only has 100 mile range with a 8 year 100,000 mile warranty on the batteries. I personally think it is too expensive and you could probably build your own electric RAV4 for half the price!
